Review: Drama at north vista cause early stopage of game;Clinton's Hat-trick seals veterans win

First HALF:

How should i start it ?.. Orangees performed pretty well in the first half with us leading 2-1. JT scored a pile driver at the 17th min after a pin point clearance by JASPER. Look at us. Even a clearance is PIN POINT! However, our happiness is shortlived. CLINTON. HE...he equalise immediately after they restart with his UsUAL kind of goal. Someone pass to him then he juz "CHAM" in.

Soon after, at the 37th min, I (MR. CZ) scored a solo effort from 25 yards. I did a knee twist to fake CLINTON to the ground and a side step to shake off NO.
6 before striking a screamer pass keeper AH GUAN. the crowd (only got 1 person which is the field warden uncle SALLEH) was effectively stunned.

2nd half :

With the inclusion of wilson CHUA in the veterans team, veterans team was much effective. They scored 2 with his involvement.

THE DRAMA:
BOB VS NO.6 & UNCLE DUA JIA &AH GUAN
it's a usual kind of push and push until buay song. Hence, I don't have to describe much. BUT i hope that orangees can refrain from sparking off such incidents anymore. We only want to ENJOY the GAME. THE ONE AND ONLY GAME

Commitments for FEB!!

Hey hey, I need to know the players commitments for the month of FEB 08. Think cause of CNY ar, alot of people will have alot of activities on the weekends. Especially saturdays. We have a couple of teams who wish to play with us and I would like to arrange a couple of matches. Please reply in the comments sections to let me know which sats you all will be free? Get this done ASAP so that the arrangements can be made. Or else there will not be any matches in the month of FEB. So that the fields can be booked and the match arranged. Pls note that $5 will be collected for the month of FEB and every subsequent month. Thanks!!

MATCH ON 19TH JANUARY 2008 @ NORTH VISTA

OK .. Its your favourite weekly match report again.. but this time its by BOB...
Firstly this is the starting line up for this week's match against the NOT-SO-OLDIES, whose team recently has been infused with several promising youth players such as GORDAN, ALVIN, SHENG LE, WILSON CHUA, and GORDAN's weird friend who showed tremendous talent in staring at his opponents..


As you can see, we are playing with 10 men as we are abit short-handed( or rather legged) recently as some of our team members are either overseas, working or down with dengue, esp WILSON( we hope you get well soon)

ok here are the highlights of the match:
1st 15 min : 0-2 orangees conceded 2 goals early in the match, real shocking goals!!
End of 1st half : 2-2 orangees equalised with goals from JT and KENDRICK, while JT injured several players from the opposing team, WICKED!!
1st 25 min of 2nd half : 4-2 orangees took the lead with goals from JT and RAYMOND if im not wrong, OLDIES may have suffered due to a change of goalkeeper.
End of 2nd half : FINAL SCORE 4-4 OLDIES orchestrated a wonderful comeback by scoring a goal from a corner and were lucky to find their 4th goal of the match due to miscommunication among the orangees defender

OUR MAN OF THE MATCH: our man of the match this week goes to DERRICK who had a great match. NEW BOOTS NEW PLAYER.. what can i say

FOLLOWING FIXTURE : MORE ACTION TO COME IN THE MATCH AGAINST THE NEW OLDIES, who are in great form, ON THE COMING SATURDAY.. see you there!!!

The new artifical field at bowen was simply great , although the length and width of the field were kinda small but still it was one of the better fields that we ever played on. If not for the heavy thunder storm it would have been a great game.
With goals from wilson and jian ting. If i remember correctly the scoreline was at 2 - 0 =D

As you all are aware, we've just set up a POSB Savings Account for the team to have better management of the team funds and it's also easier for you all to submit the team funds on time.
